Nasaih al-Dinniya
Imam al-Haddad, author of The Book of Assistance, The Two Treatises and
Gifts for the Seeker, based this book on Imam al-Ghazalis Ihya Ulum al-Deen.
It follows the structure of Ihya and is written in a simple and easily accessible
style. Unfortunately, there is no complete published English translation
but this course will be taught from the original text with commentary and
translation in English.
The following is an extract from the book Sufi Sage of Arabia: Imam Abdallah ibn Alawi al-Haddad by Mostafa al-Badawi:
The comtemporary grand-mufti of Syria [of Imam Haddad time] was
heard to say in the sacred presinct in Makka. "There is no man on earth
today more learned than Sayyid Abdallah al-Haddad. His book al-Nasaih should
be read by everyone."
